family or work ?

in todays world, everthing is ''fast'', they way we communicate and the way we live our life..

time has always been shorter over these past few years..

24 hours were never enough..7 days per week looks shorter..and 30 days per month shall just pass by..its all just because..

we want to achieve more, hence, we work a lot, eat less and sleep less.. just to gain more 'money'.. as money means choices to a better life..opportunity to express oneself..able to be comfortable and henceforth be financially independent..

however..

people always tend to under estimate the importance of family and sometimes let golden work opportunity pass by just because of family..and vice versa..so, what do you think..which one is important...family or work? or how to balance it, if possible..

any ideas? free to discuss...

yes..from my interviews..many people do agree that family comes first but later they tend to sway back to their old routine of work work and work..comments?

Family first rest is history.. In simple words you can always find a new or a different job, but you can never find a new or a different family.... Hope you all get it!

Cheers!

Well said.. There has to be a balance.. One of the reasons for the problems with kids in the West today is that parents aren't spending enough time with them.

well in my opinion I work hard for my family, to give them what they need and also spend sufficient time with them. I usually refuse the other freelance work if I have to miss a lot of time with my family. I think if i am earning for them so I should be there for them as well other wise only money doesn't mean too much to me....
