Hey ppl...

Hope u all doin gr8....

Need some help from u....
I am thinking of tinting my car windows..
So confused of what and which brand to do...

Checked out some shops..they said it costs around 70-80 QR.

But i am aware of the PJ Johnson and VKool stuff ...heard that they cost around Qr.1500 or more...

Can someone let me know the xact price...

and also, is there any which will come within 700-800 riyals.....which is good enough and not as bad as the 70/80 riyal ones....

thanx in advance

Basy ... i installed Johnson in my car. When i did the istimara the first thing the police ask is my istimara card ... and he check wether i have applied the permission.

Secondly ... the permission cost QR 25, not QR 10.

Try to get the permission first from the traffic department. You just have to pay Qr.10 and fill a paper and they will add this permission in your Isthamara or road permit card. Then you are legally allowed to put sun film otherwise there is a chance that it can be ripped off by an unwary police officer.

Films for tinting windows are basically all the same but if you want your money's worth go for 3m, it really blocks out the heat or better go for a solar powered exhaust fan it reduces the temperature inside your car while it is parked under the sun..

70 - 80 riyal ones r not bad, I have had it for about 3 years and it looks as good as new. Pj Johnson and v kool is just a waste of money...

Prices are all similar .. just take around in those Vkool, etc shops and grap what fits you.

personally i would recommend you such expensive tinting during the coming few months
