How can you tell to a person that he/she is having a smell that is "NOT" so good without getting him/her offended? (dizzy)

we are all given the chance to be clean.. so what do you mean about being rich and poor? you dont have to be rich to be clean.. you only need to take care of yourself properly.
take a bath, spray deodorant, wear clean clothes.. these are some simple ways to be tidy. you dont have to be rich. you do not need much money to be clean. you just have to understand the meaning of cleanliness.
if you are his/her friend.. you can tell it to him/her. you cant think of anyway he/she might not be offended but im pretty sure he/she would understand it if you talk in a nice way.
hygiene is very important..
take a bath everyday.. never ever try to wear the same clothes you've worn already.
ask him what brand of deodorant he is using, then tell him that his brand is not good enough, then suggest what you are using.
so pichit listen to me and daniel, tell them on their face. call them in behind close door and tell them straight the point. good luck

The whole office was suffering from that and nobody has the guts to do something about it. now everybody is happy
also give them compliments when they smell nice too. thats will give them spirit boaster to them.

glad u agree with me Daniel. So what they get offended, is for their own good. I think i would appreciated somebody said to my face saying these thing then just ignore me totally because am stink. thats more hurt.

I did call him to my office, closed the door, told him that him stinks and better do something about it. worked for 3 days and he started it again. Them I made him remove from the building.
No I heard he is getting better. so guys tell them the problem to their face and help them to change

Pichit, we are actually in the same boat, i dont have the guts to inform THEM as well, so what i what im doing since the last 4 weeks..
everytime they are coming near to me, my two weapons are always ready:
right hand - air freshner (glade -wild flower or lavander)
left hand - hanky

its not being rich or being poor..... having bad smell or being smelly is a person's way of living. its more of hygiene. even if a rich man pour 1 bottle of perfume into his body, still his natural smell will come out after some time. so cleanliness does really matters here.
thexonic I need you to tell some one in my class that. I always get in the class late and see where he is sitting and sit in the other corner. can't tell him in face and thx god it's just 2 more weeks and I wont see him again.

I did tell them on their faces, but not in rude way... I told this guy, man u know 50% of your faith is cleanness if u r a muslim, u need to take care of urself, cuz u r hurting others in some ways.

You know for one thing every body has a smell but it is how one prevents it...it's not whether you are rich or poor, or you can afford good perfumes but in reality it is just a matter of good practice of personal hygiene.. So as not to insult somebody who smells, give him or her a gift of good deodorant, complete kit on personal hygiene(including the book on personal hygiene), if she or he is intelligent enough, he or she will get the message.

Dragonfly and Deepmidoff, every nationality stinks!!! Only thing is that you should know how to hide that stink coming out of your body.

they didn't mean anything wrong by it.
People from different cultures eat different foods and the smell comes from our pores etc.
see, dragonfly212 and DeepMidoff are asking me about their nationality but still I didnt reveal it. cos its really NOT my purpose to pinpoint certain nationalities here.
maybe we can suggest them to some local perfume.

this is a very difficult thing to say to someone but maybe they will thank you when they realise.
You need to take them to one side and gently tell them that their body odour is very offensive to others, you could also try and suggest ways they can improve it, ie: regular showers, anti - perspirant etc. Try to be kind though because it isn't a very nice thing to have to say and they could get upset.

Its not my purpose to pin point certain nationalty... Im just asking for a better idea. BTW its not my personality to hurt or offend sum1 and dont have a plan to tell them straight to their face. Im not that kind of a person
What is nationality got to do with SMELL?
Say something like that:
-Do I smell? Because I'm very conscious that I may not be smelling nicely....I hate to stink.. and so many people these days just don't wash...
Hopefully they'll get the hint.
Whatever you say, be gentle and not too much into their face. It wouldn't be nice.

for us cleanliness is part of our faith, still you meet smelly muslims in Masjid. Abaya's stinking with onions
why cant we keep ourselves clean. Now its summer and its imp we take shower twice a day

ppl should be more cautious before stepping out. Those who are slogging in sun are excused for about those employees who come with stink and perfume makes it more horrible

You smell for yourself if not you talk ..if not there is a problem with your skin.
Your problem is not the body smell alone you cannot accept people from certain race ,colour ,religion ,socio-economic status , culture and their way of living which is different from you .

I just want to have some idea. Cos i already told them that its good to have a bath always cos of todays temp. but seems nothing happens to my suggestions.
