Husband Sponsorship

Hi guys,

I am newbie here in Qatar Living, I just want to ask or wanna know what are the requirements so that I could sponsor my wife as "Husband Sponsor".

I wanna bring my wife here in Doha, since my contract on my current employer would last for about 2 years.

Anyone here can give me advice what I should do so that I could sponsor my wife. Kindly tell me the process and the specific requirement/s that I need to prepare and also tell me where I should go to apply this kind of visa. I wanna also know how much I should prepare for the whole process and how long it will take to complete the husband sponsorship/visa.

Thank you very much in advance to those who could share a nice and good idea.

Regards,

Myquel

I would like to ask if my husband can take me to qatar, even if he got his RP one week ago. Does he can proceed with the processing of wife's visa...I mean the lacking requirements as per your narration is the 6 mos bank certficate only.

All the rest he have. Please give me a clear explanation.

Thanks...

Hi i received my wife's visa approval done in 4 days.

The following were the documents submitted to the labor ministry .

1. Salary certificate - with salary details and designation

2. A letter from the sponsor in Arabic stating the salary, and requesting for my wife's visa under my sponsorship ( normal format available with typing centers)

3. Bank statement for 6 months.

4. Marriage certificate attested by the embassy and stamped by Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs

5. Educational certificates, attested by the Embassy and stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

6. Copy of passport ( both mine and my wife's)

5. Application form from Labor department duly filled and typed.

Submit all to Labor Dept.

Once the application is submitted, we would get a receipt of submission and then using this we have to check the status in the website http://www.mlsa.gov.qa/MLSAServices/Laborservices/LbrReqInfo.aspx

The site is in arabic and hence you would have to check using the url info at the bottom of the page to navigate.

I received the approval on the very next day after submitting the documents . Once the approval is given there would be a button once clicked would give us a print out and a reference number on the same. The number that i received started with the letter "VP"followed by a 6 digit number.

Use this number and ur ID number and check the status of your visa in the ministry of interior website . official document status. You should get an update on the visa . I received the message " Visa ready to deliver" on the thrid day of the entire process.

I hope this should be enoguh for an applicant

Tnx

Ben
