Qatar Housing Rent fixed Rate per Sq Feet

If Government wants to really help the situation for Rising Rent at Qatar, Then Government should Fix the for every type of Building depending on Life, Facilities & Location the maximum rate per Sq feet. So that Landlord cant demand increase every year.

Yes government have put Limits of Increase, but normal practice if you dont agree on Increase demand the landlord or real estate company ask the tent to just leave the House giving some silly excuse of needing House for themself or for renovation etc etc.

The New project like Barwa are way to far to actually coming up any need to Normal people..I am sure only 10-15% actual normal people will get those House rest all will go through Chanels..I hope you under stood...

The Government should realise due higher cost of living(Rent) Expertise in Qatar Private sector are going away to better Condition or Country...or limited to just 10-15%. After all private sector give most of Backup to actual Goverment or semi Goverment Oil & GaS Company or any Industrial at Qatar...

I hope some of them realise it before its too late..

Thank you for reading my Message, Hope any Qatari reading it having connection to Royal Family able to convey our request.

Best regards,

Hi Whoami really Surprise to Hear this story of your Uncle..That means your Uncle is really Gentleman & straight person..& that mean Whoami the Real Estate Companies are the one who play around..???

I still beleive if Landlord actually give out the there property to Enduser-tenant then it shall be profitable to both....?

Real Estate company are doing nothing but make profit without any more value added service many of the time..& spoil Name of Actual Landlords...

yes I'm Qatari.

I'm sure it's true because my uncle wanted to turn a villa into a shop and there is this one guy that wont move out even though we offered to pay him. So he's stuck :P

The law is the law. Those who try to break it, should and shall be punished.

I can tell you that if someone requests to use the house, and people leave the property, the government checks in every three months to ensure that it's true.

As for renovations, if it's major, they have to move out, if it's minor, the tenant can stay.
