hello, i am no lebanese but i remembered when my husband and i was looking for any kind of resto which will serve a really enticing food,we've found kabab-ji,we find it really satisfying as we havent found any good resto here, and now my husband and i found ourselves eating there every other night or sometime every night. ;) now that i know that there are alot more lebanese resto here in qatar,we might pay a visit at those resto's mentioned ;) lebanese food are amazing and so as morrocan food back when we we're in dubai. ;)
I agree with whoami, Assaha's food doesn't live up to their decor.
I like Sarai, in Villagio. It's Lebanese/Syrian/Turkish, so their menu has some items that are a little different from the "same ol same ol" that we usually find here.
Eve, are you talking about the original Al Majlis, on Al Sadd? It's not good any more? Used to go there a lot, it was always good! Tried the one behind Landmark but it wasn't too great.
I don't think Assaha is the best lebanese place. I mean, yes it's nice, yes nice decoration, but I find that the best lebanese food are the small cheapo ones.

The special of a day is a fish and rice dish that is really good. Many of the Lebanese rest. have specials of the day that are really good and resonable price as well. Al-Hamra on Rayyan Rd. near to Electricty street is good or was last time I went. Mejalis is no longer good they used to be great.

So far, the best I've tried is the Bukhari round the back of Safari hypermarket :) Cheap but with fantastic food!
