VOIP has been blocked by qtel......i dont get it....its completely legal.....if qtel cant handle healthy competition from internet calling programs then how on earth will they compete with vodafone next year....
internet calling is legal all over the world..disregard for what the local telecom provider feels about its differences with them....
if you are looking to buy a new VOIP recharge or a set...i dont think you will find it in doha anymore...the shops have stopped selling them...cause its banned...
if you had one of those old programs (i wont mention the names...for obvious reasons)....you can recharge your account using your credit card...and make calls at dirt cheap rates contrary to the over priced fares prescribed by qtel

Qtel is the sole telecomunication in the country till today...so th control the whole monopoly..
