Dear all,
question from my wife. We are living in Belgium and she wants to know if women are allowed to drive in Qatar or Emirates?

Regards.

yes she can drive in Qatar(despite all the jokes here about women not driving). Make sure she gets an international driving license with her so she can drive here until she applies for a permanent local one..

Squarepeg is right, a Belgian Driver's license qualifies her to be able to change it without a driving test-only an Eye test is needed

If she has an EU driving licence she'll just need an eye test, not a driving test.

She can Drive in both countries with a valid driving license

I think she should do take a test to get the local driving license, if you are planning to stay for a long time.

what we do is dress up as men and drive erratically to reflect our frustrations...
