Medical Spa in Villagio......hair extentions!

BCA
By BCA

Hi,

I have had the worst cut ever at the Medical Spa in Villagio and I'm considering getting hair extentions to try and cover it up! Has anyone had hair extentions and has anyone had them done at the Medical Spa? I really want it fixed but I'm scared it might just be even more of a disaster!!!

To give you an idea, my hair used to be long (down my back) and now I cant even tie it back its so short. My friend figured out that when I said a 'tiny' bit off she thought I meant I wanted it short!!!!

All extensions do not create hair damage. I'm a professional stylist in the U.S. I work for CNN, FOX News and many television shows. I'm Moving to Doha in March 2010.... My preferred method of installing extensions that you can wear and wash for 8- 12 weeks are called micro links. Tubular extensions. No glue. Clip ins are very convenient and useful if you don't want to commit to a certain style/length everyday.

Do not be afraid... only believe.

There have been plenty of plastic surgery shows on cable, but Oxygen Network has just debuted a reality show called Addicted To Beauty about a new medical spa in San Diego. The show airs on Tuesdays at 10 PM EST/9PM Central."Addicted to Beauty follows the outrageous staff at Changes Plastic Surgery and Spa, located in Southern California," according to Oxygen. "Dianne York-Goldman, socialite and marketing expert, has brought her over-the-top employees from her previous spa to help with this new venture with well-known plastic surgeon Dr. Gilbert Lee. The workplace antics get out of control when the staff must learn to work together for the common good of the business."

Just to let you know if you are trying to grow your hair then be careful with hair extensions. You will have hair damage the best thing get the clip on hair extensions that way your hair will grow nice and healthier free of glue.

You could buy hair extensions and clips swing then together and use it when ever you want long hair hair or for every day i use my self hair extensions with the clips every day and i love it

I am quite happy with the Glow hair salon, also it takes ages to get an appointment. I have been once to Marie Claire and I found her attitude 'lacking'.

Been before to the Diplomatic Club, there was a nice lady from South Africa, but I have no clue whether she is still there.

Now after all comments about the Medical Spa I have trepidations to redeem my 400 QR voucher

Bfoua, i had a disastrous haircut over there. Had a girl who cant speak english did my hair.

I will NEVER EVER do another hair cut at that place again.

Although i must admit their facial is quite good. I am being serve by a nice filipina lady who speak perfect English and knows what she is doing.

I don't advise anyone to go there. They r the worst ever. Not prfessional, not CLEAN and girls there r so dumb and most of them don't speak english.

Once i took appointment to do permanant french manicure on original nails, when i arrived there they told me that they simply don't have this service! That day i had to cancel too many important things to go to this appointment.

Another day, i went for waxing, the girl that did the wax to me doesn't know english, and doesn't know WAXING! and the towel i under me was having hair from the previous costumer!!!!!!!!!!

this sucks!

I have my own personal stylist.. cut is like QR40 but he only cuts at home! To keep it under wraps. He is really good! Shame he's a guy (feminish) and he can't work in a proper ladies salon!

Did I say he's Filipino too?

I just had the haircut from hell at Glow..colour is fine though...I look like a shorn lamb with all sorts of spikey bits that don't belong anywhere. I had heard such great things about them and I'm sadly disappointed. Had a really good waxing there by a lovely Filipina lady though.

i went there recently to get a cut and dye, woman i had refused to dye my hair because the color that is in now, i said fine can i get the color removed she refused that as well, in the end i just got my hair cut, i wanted to cut my hair to my shoulders she refused that so i got a trim, i also wanted my bangs cut above my eyes (i have 3 little kids and wanted easy to manage hair) and she also refused that! so in the end i walked out feeling like total s*#t! maybe we had the same woman!

i also got a few other things done, and was not happy at all so a few days later went to one of the smaller local salons they did everything i wanted, i walked out with more money in my pocket and happy!

Hi,

Def partly a language barrier thing but I did demonstrate and as soon as she cut the hair short I stopped her but she had to carry on. To be honest I think she was a trainee, the hair is very uneven, she has cut a wedge on one side and not on the other and at the front one side is up to my ear and one side it at my chin, no exageration! So yes, partly language but mainly a really poor cut!

just a case of a language barrier, couldn't you have just demonstrated how much you wanted cut off???

Hair grows, I know it will take a while but it will grow back
