Working as a MD Doctor in Qatar

Hi there,
Could anyone tell me more about working as a doctor in Qatar as I am being offered to work as a doctor there...I would like to know about medical rules and if there are any stringent rules by local government in case if a patient gets serious health problems after getting treatment from a doctor. Someone scared me by informing that in some countries there are punishments for people from medical profession in case of anything goes wrong with the patient.

If you are found guilty of medical malpractice by all means you'll be prosecuted and jailed, not only in Qatar but in any other country as well.

If you think you have a good experience in getting patients seriously sick after treating them, then you should seriously reconsider coming here.
