Nurse in Heaven
A nurse dies and goes to heaven. She is met at the Pearly Gates by St. Peter who asks her questions about her life.
Over St. Peter's shoulder the nurse spots a man in a white coat sitting on a cloud with a stethoscope around his neck.
"Oh brother!", she cries. "Is that a doctor?"
St Peter glances over his shoulder and says, "No, that's God. He just thinks he's a doctor."
its funny, cos doctors on the whole think they are God......spose one has to have that sort of sense of humour to get it.....*sighs*

Some will understand this sentence not to mean what it seems to say.

A common point of view of many Nurses is that Doctors have a God Complex (ie they think they are God). As a Nurse myself I think this is quite funny!

You're right.. Humour is cultural.. Perhaps a nurse will explain it..
I generally pride myself at understanding jokes. This is rubbish. I can seem to find the humour in it.
