excercising in one vital thing.

eating habits is another thing to be considered:

1. better eat 5 or 6 times a day (reasonable portions). 2. chew the food very well (theoretically 50 times each bite).

3. check your glands

4. check which food items that might cause your overweight. there are certain tests for that

5. try to have stomach exercise some 30 minutes before some of the meals. stomach exercises are very easy and can be done at home.

Good luck

Hi, I do "hip hop abs" and it helps a lot in maintaining my figure hihihi! Dancing and the same time burning the fats from the foods that I ate..I do that daily at least 30mins. Just a self discipline...focus ok?

I don't deprive myself on what I want to eat. It's just that I take a little. For example I like to eat cake, I just eat half a slice. If I want ice cream, I didnt take a cup..just a cone size. For chocolates, just a bite size and not a bar! Do not skip meal and eat only when you are hungry. No softdrinks..just water. Plenty of water. But of course it depends on your body metabolism. I don't think deiting pills could help. So there, I don't think if I am too thin now, I am 48 kilos.

JJJ, goodluck to you!

-define you goal (you want to lose weight because you want to be confident, do it for yourself and not to please others)

-start today (do it now!)

-focus (practice self discipline)

-know what motivates you to do this (i.e. you want to reach your toe when you bend your body, etc)

-be happy (still don't deprive yourself on you want to do and eat)

Don't get depressed, losing weight is long time process. Some take it for a year, don't rush it or you're health will be in danger.

I had a baby in July 2007, went up from 70kg to 120kg. I joined Al massa Gym, and now am down to 82kg. Still have another 12kg to go before I get to my normal weight again, but am working on it. Come to Al Massa, and we can set you up nicely.

Don't worry, you are not alone.

here try this maybe this may help you in losing yr weight.each day note down the foods that you consume,fr here you can study where you went overboard and improve in yr eating habits. when you are hungry snack on healthy foods....fruits, veg sticks, muesli bar etc etc etc. you see the brain is such that it will tell you that you are hungry so even if you snack on an apple it will help in filling you up. it does not have to be something overloaded with empty callories. and also remember to eat slowly, it takes the brains longer to register that you are already full fr eating and have had enough.when a person is hungry they eat too fast and hence at the end of it they overeat, i used to tell my 'clients' before to eat slowly, chew yr food longer and enjoy yr meal. do not eat in a hurry and also you can always trick yr brains ,say when hungry have some healthy foods, dried fruits are wonderful to snack on too. always bear in mind that the most important meal of the day is bfast, followed by lunch , dinner being the lightest meal for the day reason being you wont be needing much energy and callories at the end of the day so ensure yr dinner is light and have it early too. if at any time after dinner you do feel hungry have a fruit, cracker or something healthy that is not rich. by doing this you will find that you will feel better when retiring and also not too 'heavy' when you wake up the next morning. try it out for a week or two and see how you feel.......also ensure that you are well hydrated meaning drinks lots of liquids, try to avoid sweet stuff especially colas etc etc . this is where the empty callories come in .........gl to you

Thanks spice mom I needed that. Iam looking on my eating habits. I dont have any spicy or fried items. I had reduced it b4. but now I feel lik havng more food. I always seem hungry. I dont know y. This is how I gained my weight. It had taken 4 & 1/2 months to reduce 10 kilos. Now it took 3 months 2 gain it all up..... Iam really depressed...

JJJ- for starters watch what you eat , avoid high calloric food/fatty food/oily food- in other words eat healthily.also try to avoid eating large/huge portion at one meal time. is better if you eat smaller amt but more frequently. instead of having yr meals 3xs a day try to have 5 meals a day but in smaller amt.as much as you can 'train' yrself to eat large meals you can also 'train' yrself to consume lesser amt of food. then make sure that you do at least 30 mins of cardiovascular activity ie- join an aerobics class, cycle, jog, brisk walk at least 30 mins (more if you can is better but slowly and gradually increase the time). do this min 3 x a week , more if you can.when you see improvement in yr weight/size do treat/reward yrself. do not set huge goals as smaller goals are easily achievable, as with bigger goals if it is not achieved will kinda demoralize you . if you can afford it try to engage a personal trainer to assist you. join a gym be diligent abt working out. if you keep at it chances are you may see results in 30 days or so. good luck and hope you do achieve what you want and remember to not give up easily.....hope this helps

Try Aspire, it offers many programs like aerobic and yoga class tht you can join, I have a friend who used to be overweight, but after joining kickboxing class she lost 15kg in 2 months. Determination is one of the important factors in losing weight. Good luck to you.

Yeah, we really needed to know how much you weigh.

Anyway, most of the hotels have gym facilities, just call them and ask. Also, do a search, this topic has come up so many times before you won't have trouble finding info.
