I would like to know what is the right age to start martial arts training..My son is 3 and enjoys doing his own kung fu all the time..I would love to start kungfu or some kind of martial art for him but guess he is too young..can you all suggest whether I should go ahead or stay back..

Also would love to know various kind of martial arts and places where they can be taught in Qatar...

kids love to imitate TV actors that's a fact but the reality of real martial arts is far off tv.starting them young would be really beneficial for them coz the anatomy of a child is still stretchable and its better to learn the right discipline @ an early stage.GODBLESS

My son started judo just after he turned 4. I would say that it would really depend on the patience of the teacher and if your son was able to concentrate for the duration of the lesson. They have to be able to participate not just run around the class doing their own thing. I was surprised at how my son could. Speak to a professional teacher as every child is different and your son might be ready to start. You can always have a try out.

Good luck
