Hi Friends,

I am an Indian, moving into Doha, Qatar by July end. Can somebody please advice me on where to take good family accomodation ? Some of my friends advised me to take accomodation in a place called Old Airport Area. Are 2 or 3 BHK apartments available here ? Or small Villas ? What kind of rents should I expect ?

I am looking for a peaceful and good life in Doha. Besides, which are good indian school for education in higher classes ( 9th ).

Many thanks in advance,

The rents stated above are true. Here too you will find CBSE sylabus option in all Indian school.

But you will have a difficult time finding coaching class for 9th std student. You might find some private tuition teachers through advt or QL but none of the professionalism you would find back home.

Life would be peaceful....if you learn to drive and own a car....everybody in Qatar owns a car!

Check out the Top Indian Schools:

MES Indian School:

Birla Public School:

Regarding house rent one near to your office. Everywhere in doha the rent is almost the same!

I'm always surprised at how people accept the job in a foreign country, and THEN ask if there are good schools, nice places to live etc.

Surely a parent would find out if there are good schools for their children first before making the decision.

Or maybe the money is more important to some than the education.
