Reg. Family Visa

Hi all,

Recently I got interviewed in India for a top company in Doha, Qatar. I know I did well and maybe I stand a good chance at getting the job.

All went well until the HR person asked me reg. my family health condition. I had to tell the truth that my son got operated for a hole in his heart three and a half years ago as a 40 day old infant.

I could see a 'question mark' on the HR person's face. Then I added that the boy is a normal kid now attending school and no one else in the family has any medical problems.

Please tell me if I will be 'rejected' on these grounds. Do they normally don't give family visas in such cases ?

My dream is to work in Qatar but my family is also equally important to me; especially my son.

Thanks,
Prawin.

Dear Pravin ,

There is no problem with regards to you having a Son who had a the hole when he was a child. He is healthy now so it should not be a problem . Your HR person who interviewed you probably must have dismayed for two reasons . On reason probably is if they are providing you with Medical Reimbursements . If they are not then the only reason he could have acted the way you said is because he must have felt bad . But quite frankly you will not have a problem with the situation . But a word of caution . Medical facilities here are very expensive especially in the private hospitals . The Government hospitals are not that reliable and i doubt you would want to send your Son there . All the best Dude. Await your arrival here ..

hi

Good day & hope you are doing well.

Best of luck for your new career. As for as i know there's no problem in obtaining a family visa for you. There's no prior medical health checkup for kids. So it should be a big deal.

May almighty bless you and family.
