probably there's no one up to now that would gather those people in QL interested in crafts and arts to form a group, it sometimes occurred only within groups belonging to same nationality to conduct such activities on their own, and not exactly a "group" solely devoted to it.

you could start one, as the others may say, but as per my opinion, it would be difficult since we belong to a multinational populace and it will be a broader scope to handle (since crafts and arts has many forms), not like those of specific groupings (which gather to specific interest).

but if one would start to create, then who knows, maybe if the idea behind that group may be specific to few things in crafts and arts concentrating on a single medium or two, then it will have interested members to participate with.

just my suggestion, if you would create one, you could start on specific idea as a medium such as "sand art" which a common thing here and as well as becoming one of the promising forms of art nowadays with an organized international competition to look forward to.
