I think we have to finish medical and finger prints within one month. But i have a serious problem if soebody can help me out.
Actually my wife and my son came on residency family visit on 16th of july.I went for their medical on 23rd.They took blood sample and Xray as usual.Than after one week we got one msg that we have to go in XRAY dept again .we went their again in morning(28/07/2008).They said machine is not working u must come tommarow.Than i went again next day(29/07/2008) in morning on thursday,Again same reason MACHINE IS NOT WORKING.CALL BEFORE U COME.They gave one landline no which no body is responding.

Some how we got mobile no of a doctor ,but whenevr we r calling she is saying machine is not working.
I dnt understand wat is happening over here.I am thinking how it is possible that there is only one machine in medical commision to examine the previous xray. They want to check the previous one on that machine, which is not working.

we have one kid,we have gone three times, and i have to take permission again and again from my office.

I am really fed up,please help me out.

because 20 days alreeady finished only 10 days are left to finish the medical and finger prints

Thankyou voyagers for the information..

actually ours is a repeated Xray..

they are sayin that first we will check ur previous xray, than we will give you reports.

the machine which has to be used for scrutinize the previous xray is not working...

other normal xray machine are working.

To the hell with this machine...

they can take new xray...and check the new xray

but they are waiting for this scrap to check the previous xray...LOL

Thing is dat their is no department for enquiries and helping out such cases. My wife is also a physiotherapist she knows about all machines and medical related things.

But all in vain here.

and they says it is very good machine it will show each and every thing ...LOL

The thing is dat there is no body to help you out..

number is of no use dear friend ,it was just a formality, whenevr we are calling they recieved the phone they knows we are calling in reference to repeated xray..and directly says machine is not working,it can take one more week ,we dnt know exactly..and cut off.I do know there is a rush there but there is a way of talking.

Thankyou for your answer...

Hi Stupendous, the X-ray machine was working yesterday in the Ladies Section at the medical centre. The safety standards are lax; the door to the X-ray room was left permanently open! The queues were very long and the whole experience was so dehumanising.

BTW, my one-month tourist visa was extended twice to allow for the tediously slow Red Tape ( I have to wait another week to get fingerprints done). Sorry you've been so inconvenienced, but seeing the chaos yesterday I am not surprised...

As mentioned before for family its 3 Months grace period and after that you will have to pay some sort of fine in Qr. every day. I'm not sure how much but if I am not wrong Qr.100/- per day after 3 months.

As far as X-Ray machine, well there is not need for 2 machines when one is more than enough for them. Since this is vaccation period, its usually difficult to catch hold of technicians who are already overloaded with other assignements.

Hope you get the process done smothly, you are luck you have some one to contact before going...

Thankyou Samsam.

so it will not be a issue of one month..

can it be done within 3 months??

I am thinking that how it is possible that Qatar medical commission has only one xray machine and everything is depending on this machine....
