stick to ur job. i know people who resigned from their post because they got job offer from QF which will give them twice the salary they were receiving. The company from which they resigned from gave them NOC's/release. Upon reaching immigration for finger printing, they were summoned for repatriation within 24 hours.

Your question is confusing...I thought you want to transfer your Accounts from one bank to another.

If you are talking about the job.. please FORGET about it.

I know one guy, who resigned from Bank-M, since he got a senior position in Bank-Q. Though the M-Bank given release, this guy could not join Q-Bank, due to the objection from Labour Ministry. For some weeks, he was in tension, becuase he was jobless from both banks.

Better you stick on, where you are wroking

even if your bank would give you a release, at the moment...forget about it!

because of the labour dept regulations, it is not allowed to give work permits to new employees in the banks within Qatar. they are only allowed, for certain positions, to take people from abroad and locals.

this is due to the qatarisation proccess and goes on for over a year now!

frankly speaking, i wish they'd stop this thing soon...

good luck and hang it there!

baldricks,,, i guess, the question is about getting employed in another bank....not about accounts..!!

well, it depends if the bank gives you release, you can join anywhere..!! all the best. :)
