Christmas Decorations?

Hope this isn't offensive, coming on the eve of Ramadan, but I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind and quality of Christmas decorations are available here. I'm making a visit to the States in November and I'm wondering if, when I get back to Doha I'll be able to find thing to decorate with or if I should bring some things back with me?

The One sells Christmas decorations.

I'll never forget seeing a young kid, about 2 or 3, absolutely terrified and brought to tears by a mechanical Santa Claus in there that was singing some awful carol with red flashing eyes and arms akimbo. It was priceless. The parents were in stiches while the poor kid was in agony.

Just had the shipping company pack up the 'extras' to help us feel at home - non negotiable was my tree and case of decorations! My husband did not agree, but they are on their way.

I was here last Christmas and did see decorations in the Lulu and elsewhere, some nice ones in the Old Souk

Good luck

yeah, u can find some christmas decoration and trees but most of it is not so nice and the quality is poor.

if u can, and have some space in ur suitcase, bring some stuff from home :o)

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.

Home Centre had lots of stuff last year. Upstairs at Lulu there was a fiar bit too. Like wise FFC Airport.

Dream Shopping on Airport road and Ramez further up are always good options too!

hi, they do have some good stuff but no the same quality as the u.s or u.k. I would advise bringing some stuff back with you. Especially tinsel for the tree as I really struggled to find some here last year, it was all like string. Non of the big, fluffy stuff you usually have. And what I did find was about 60 riyal each bit!!!
