Any hotels in West Bay open for lunch?

Anyone know of any? Its nearly lunch time and I can't think of anywhere to go. There is no food at the crib and we are not allowed to eat in the office during Ramadan.

Tigasin ... i think that QR 2500 not including the tax ... maybe you give them a call first, i guess you already missed day 1 of Ramadhan? And also the offer not including the lunch for Eid.

what does tigasin mean? I always wondered that.

She has been doing it for years but for obvious reasons she doesn't want a lot of people knowing and going there. It used to be fine where anyone who had her number could ask for what's there and get it, but she has become more restrictive since last year because some crazy arab woman who had bought some cakes from here didn't like them and left them smeared all over her door, the same woman then threatened to get her in trouble with the authorities etc.

Since then it is usually a smaller trusted circle that she sells too, I knew of her because her niece is a good friend of mine.

You better keep your distance from me. People who know me, know that I do not make idle threats and I am very strong.

The thing is guys this place is not a proper restaurant, it's an individual making it from her home for people who are unable to cook or eat out during Ramadan.

I had some bbq chicken, roasted potatoes and veggies and a slice of warm homemade apple pie. :)

I had some delicious lunch, I can't reveal where I bought it from though, it's hard enough getting a hold of my fave delicacies from that spot without it getting sold out to others in the know! ;)

The hotels will keep serving food, but behind screens. Just call them to ask what services they are offering.

Both. The Sheraton will have one too, and the Four Seasons.

A couple of years ago we went to the Sheraton during Ramadan and they had a screened off area by the pool where you could buy and eat food.

Most of the hotels should have a lunch buffet. I know Movenpick does.
