Roman type behaviour

I wonder if this had anything to do with the Romans penchant for 'gay' behaviour??

is that most people know the basics of how not to contract both diseases most are unaware of the nature of both HIV and AIDs and are in retrospect two different diseases a person can live for years HIV positive before it mutates into AIDs. Both HIV and AIDs have a mutation rate of every 8 to 10 persons which means that for every 8th to 10th person that is infected the virus mutates again which is why there is no known cure and the tri-meds used for suppressing the HIV virus differs from case to case.

"Your born, You Live, You Die, given this premise, one can conclude since we have no control over when we are born and when we die, the only thing that matters to us should be how we live, simple really?" Mis-Cat to her philosophy Lecturer.

I read it MD, and you can't say that just because SIV doesn't effect chimps that same way that HIV effects humans means that it's not the same disease, diseases are strange things and the same thing effects different species in different ways.

Thanks for posting that link PH,I also read in Wikipedia that the first people to die of AIDS in the US were a Haitian family (Dad, mom and daughter) in the 1970's.

Rich in mineral resources, rich in sickness and poverty, rich in famine, famous for genocide and civil wars, famous for their animal parks and know the foundation of HIV.

What else do they need? More misery?

Yes I read MD! The only problem I have with the whole monkey theory is that SIV is not known to affect monkeys as HIV affects humans.

Personally, and if I was a betting person, I would bet that some goverment, starting experimenting with infectious diseases from animals and made SIV into HIV that would effect us.

Having said that they say gonnoreah (spell) came from eating camel meat. Allahu Alim And chilled monkey brains looked tasty on raiders of the lost ark number 2. (can't remember the name lol)

http://ididnotknowthatyesterday.blogspot.com/2006/12/just-where-did-aids-come-from.html

Three of the earliest known instances of HIV infection are as follows:

- A plasma sample taken in 1959 from an adult male living in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo.

- HIV found in tissue samples from an American teenager who died in St. Louis in 1969.

- HIV found in tissue samples from a Norwegian sailor who died around 1976.

A 1998 analysis of the plasma sample from 1959 has suggested7 that HIV-1 was introduced into humans around the 1940s or the early 1950s; much earlier than previously thought. Other scientists have dated the sample to an even earlier period - perhaps as far back as the end of the 19th century.

In January 2000 however, the results of a new study presented at the 7th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections, suggested that the first case of HIV-1 infection occurred around 1930 in West Africa . The study was carried out by Dr Bette Korber of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The estimate of 1930 (which does have a 15 year margin of error) was based on a complicated computer model of HIV's evolution. If accurate, it means that HIV was in existence before many scenarios suggest.

One thing to remember, is as we are not quite sure where AIDS and HIV come from, there is one thing that is certain today, AIDS is still deadly...so protect yourself EVERYTIME!

Every where they conquer they announce their political motives and did mix with the local population. In my opinion, The newspaper clipping has no merit of foundation.

Do you think the tainted blood came from Gyppo?

Is it not just more than a coincidence that it emerged at much the same time as HIV/AIDS was discovered in the gay community? And how come the first cases of HIV/AIDS were found amongst the gay community? If you want to blind yourselves to the realities of the situation then carry on by all means. Perhaps you feel more comfortable in ignoring the truth?

I find it amazing that a disease that has only been around for the last 35 years is because of Gays. When Homosexuals have been around since almost the beginning of time.

Gypsy is spot on when she says it spread through both hetero and homosexuals like wildfire at the same time!

Besides it was probably some experiment by the goverment that went wrong! I don't believe it came from monkeys either!

Actually HIV was introduced into the "straight" community at virtually the same time as the gay community through tainted blood donations, inter venous drug use, and un protected, sex etc. It just became more publicized in the gay community because of anti-gay bias, i.e. people like you.

This practice in turn caused infection of hetro females and their male partners, and so on and etc. It's a crock and it's all down to gay behaviour.

You did read the link, but did you notice that the nature of the disease supposedly imported by the Romans was not specified? What exactly does 'education' have to do with my opinion? 'Education' in most of it's forms is simply indoctrination, a means to implant particular beliefs in the minds of children and the gullible. Many adults (but not all!) recognise this as they gain life experience, and the more intelligent ones are able to put irrelevant elements of their 'education' firmly behind them. Apparently you have not reached this stage yet.

I did read the link and I think your comment on "I wonder if this had anything to do with the Romans penchant for 'gay' behaviour??" was very unfortunate. It seem as if you didn't read the link. Or maybe you're just an uneducated person who does not like gay people.
