Hi all

Visit qatar for a week and staying with friends , need access to a beach/pool. Do you know if you can use the private beaches of the sheraton and Inter Continental hotels and if so what is the daily rate.

Can anyone suggest other decent facilities that you can visit on a daily basis

For Swimming pool you saw Qatarisun answer.

For Beaches there are no private beaches.

Still you can go to Halul island Banana Island

Then beaches around Qatar are

Zakreet Quite Calm Beach

Dhakira good one too

Umsaeed beach too crowded

Dukhan Beach

Umbab Beach

Shamal all rocky kinda beach

Fuwairit Beach nice one for camping too

Zubara Beach lil nasty

Intercontinental - QR 200 on the weekend, during the week i believe it's 150-170. Ritz is QR275. Al Sultan is about QR 250. Four Seasons i am not sure if they have dayly passes unless you are a member or the member's guest.

u can use any hotel beach

the rates for 5 star hotels 200 to 300 qr

u can use the lower grades hotels by 50 qr
