Can someone tell me who does the Aspire Institute of sport cater for, ie everyone who wants to attend, ie only select athletes or sports persons, and do they need to be nationals or do expats and families qualify for admission, what costs are involved if any..
Re: joining ASPIRE and taking fitness classes there (which is what you are asking about, I think), they have reasonable rates for expats; nationals (Qataris) join or attend for free (it is my understanding). Once you join, you may attend an unlimited number of fitness classes. However, several people have commented that nationals (Qataris) are given first priority in filling classes, and that they've found themselves locked out of taking the classes they wanted because of this. Again -- this is simply what I have heard, so call them up and ASK about this. Better than throwing money down the toilet...
Well, last time I inquired it had closed its operation for an undisclosed period. They asked me to call after 2 months to inquire. Also, as per the information on there website its open for all residents who are willing to join.
Please let me know if you get any more information about there operation.
