Sorry to ask u OUSHA, but i remember, just some weeks ago, u asked one question about the meaning of some HINDI words..Do u remember, they were : LARKI, TEKEEH,MATLAB..You have many queries about INDIAN culture..Ne reason?? Just wanna know..R u learning ne sort of INDIAN literature or history?? If u r, then its gud coz v have a vast and diverse culture..

And my dear, religion never binds ne boundaries..Like all said, celebration is same everywhere..Be it PAKISTANI,EMIRATI,BAHRAINI etc etc..

Ramadan Eid is celebrated uniformly by the Muslims around the world. It does not and should not change with the country of residence.

The special Salat (Prayers) is offered on Eid and that is the form of celebration across the world. Of course, people greet each other, distribute sweets, wear new clothes, go out to meet relatives and friends, younger ones get gifts from the yelders and so on....

Some practices might vary and might be influenced by local tradtions / culture.

But, the main essence of Ramada Eid is to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan by offering special Salat and asking God to accept our prayers / efforts that we did throughout the holy month of Ramadan. That remains the same everywhere.

Islam doesnt have any boundries , its all same and one globally, the rules regulations and all. however, the food preparation and types are certainly change from place to place.

some prepare sweet vermicilies, some other sweet dishes like sheer khorma, briyani is common.

inviting one and all home, and then exchanging greetings all same.

subject is vast and more and more can be written,....
