Maximum age of car to import?
Can someone tell me the rules for importing a car to Doha? I have a 2005 Diesel pickup truck in Texas that I would like to import here to Doha. Is that too old? Can you import a Diesel? I have heard many different answers. Does anyone know where I should go to get the facts?

A friend was trying to bring his 5-1/2 year old truck to Doha from Dubai and declined as Qatar does not allow import of vehicles of above 5 years age. You should not have any problem but do check from concerned department as rules and regulation change before you know it.
it needs to be less than 5 years which a 2005 is. And diesel is possible to import. But why do you want to do it ? Sell your vehicle in Texas and buy one here.
Get a Petrol engined Pick up here. There is no advantages to have a Diesel Engine here.
