Theft

We live is Simaisima and were robbed recently. Is the crime normally this bad in this area? A laptop was stolen and my husbands shoes.

They can sell everything in Souq Haraj on Fridays even if the shoes are almost worned out. Robbers will take what ever they find if they can sell it and make money so be careful.

It was reported, but the police werent too interested sadly. We will not be complacent, and we are waiting for their arrival for their next shopping trip......

Never heard of robbery on that area before..Simaisma seems to be a peaceful community,and i dont see much people like here in the city..Well too bad for you dear. Just a reminder that we must always secure our homes,at all times...
