Any one back in Qatar after the BAN period?

Hi all,

I wanted to know what happens to the Qatar ID that is registered in our visa, driving licenses, technical licenses, health cards etc, once a person leaves Qatar and returns back under another sponsorship, after serving the compulsory 2 year ban, outside Qataar?

Does this number change? What procedures to change all these cards and is previous sponsor's permission needed?

Thanks in advance.

Some Facts

I have been in qatar until end of Dec 2005 and then left the country on a new job in another country.

I severd there for 18 months, and then my employer transferred me to Qatar.

My employer provided me a business visa for entry and thus I returned to Qatar on 10th July 2007.

I had no NOC from my previous sponsor. However my current employer took my RP approval on 26th July 2007 (just 2 weeks after my arrival in Qatar, even without an NOC).

When I went for finger printing at the CID, on the FORM we had declared the old ID Card number, also I told the Police man that I was already here in Qatar, so probably you will have my records in your computer. He told me it is no problem, but he has to take it again and thus once again they recorded my finger printing.

Later, when I got my RP and ID Card, it contained the same old ID Card number. Also my old Driving License expired in Sept 2007, which when I renewed beared the same old number (same as the ID carr).

In effect in my case, I had all the documents revalidated with the same old sigle number, which I had with my old sponsorer.
