USB HEADSET (LightWive LW-480U)
I bought a USB headset (LightWive LW-480U)for skype from Lulu day before yesterday.
malfunction message came when I plug in to my USB desktop.

No driver enclosed in the box.
is driver required for this type of USB headset?
I use my USB port for my digital camera, flash disk, etc and it works well.
is the problem in my USB, desktop , or USB headset?
my desktop is 3.0 pentium D with motherboard gigabyte GA-8I945PL-G.
how to solve this problem, please...

These types of headsets usually come with a CD though.
If the problem persists, heres a list of what can be wrong:
1. Software problem caused by Windows itself. Sometimes windows installs with missing files that are vital for plug and play functions.
2. A problem with the USB supplied by the headset manufacturer.
Here's what you can do:
i )Try it on another computer, if it works, then theres a problem with your computer.
ii )If it doesnt work, look at the box, does it have any website you can visit to get the driver. (I searched the model on yahoo and couldn't find anything though)
iii)Buy another brand headset, i bought a combo from lulu, it had a usb headset, a mouse, and a mouse pad, the brand is called trust, and it works excellently. ( this one had a CD that installed it on the system)
