I was once racing with some young dumb arabs in the Old Airport Area going around tight corners & shit. I saw a cat (not a kitten) with its head stuffed in a Buggles chips packet. I was leading so I started braking in such a way that i was blocking the other car's lane towards the cat. The cat was walking around in circles & i kept steering according to it & braking at the same time, finally coming to a hault, getting out, pulling the plastic wrapper off of the cat's head I heard the guys yell 'YOU FU**ING IDIOT!'....so I lost a race, which is a huge dissapointment people some of you might not know that for those who're born & brought up here loosin or winnin a race is like life & death....get yelled at...& the only good stuff i got from it was another cat staring at me....sucks.

Oh finally I managed a used black FJ..

still lookin for a kitten....

what a nice gesture from this man. Pity Superhero cat saver couldnt save the sqaushed cat i saw on my way to work this morning. It was awful to see, feel sorry for these cats on Doha roads.

On a serious Note SamyaUK.. I think this weekend for me was one of the most horrible one.. I think I must have seen at 7 to 8 cats squashed on the roads. Glad to hear such a nice story. Back in the UK it is mostly the badgers and foxes that get run over, atleast the council comes and cleans up the mess, here they are just left to rot..

I don't know if i'd have got out of my car to rescue that little kitten but i do know that I'd have got my eyes moist if it had died in front of me. Your very expression about having so much compassion for cats is worth an appreciation. I have a white cat in my office that I love being fooling around with.

well..i think there are good ppl in this world.. they r not hard to find as some of u mentioned.. i personally did the same thing.. but with the help of my dad.. he stopped the traffic by standing in the middle of a similar road.. and i ran to the cat that was injured picked it up and put it in a safe place away from the road.. luckily no one beeped at us =)
