RASGAS OFFER
Dear All,
I am Malaysian,got an offer from Rasgas as process operator ( Offshore ) which basic salary QRY6800 . Allowances QRY10800 =Total bring home QRY 17600 nett. Single status 28/28 rotation , return flight ticket provided .Malaysia to Doha. Permanant staff got annual bonus / increment , medical,dental + eos benefit.
I am 25 years old having 3 years 10 month working experience as offshore operation technician.
-Is the offer good for me?
-How is working environment/culture in Rasgas?
-Anybody working at Rasgas Alpha platform here/need your kind assistance/comment.
-How long it will take for the company to process my Visa after completed sending all the document required?
All the senior here, need your valuable advice regarding matter above.

shakira, this is a good offer considering that you only need to work for 28 days and sit your ass for another 28...man that would be a very good life ahead of you.
28 days vacation they just pay my Basic Salary....its ok for me cuz to be pay juz doin nothing..haha....
according to my friend who is reading now your post,it is a good offer...but if the 28 days vacation is without pay,that is another offer...:)
I was apply for the at 9/10/08 and gone through the interview at 13/10/2008 with their rectruitment agent in KL,Malaysia....After interview I immediately sign the offer letter. After that..I proceed with my medical c/up ,application of letter of good conduct and etc ( for visa processing )....now all the document requred for my recruitment process + visa application have been submitted to RASGAS through my agent...now I am waitin for my VISA to start working there...Buddy....may I know where r u come from?....u can email me at [email protected]...
Buddy, can you please tell how long did it take before you got the interview with RASGAS and how long is the processing before you start.

Is this really good for me?.28 days offshore then 28 days off going back to my country Malaysia ( return flight ticket provided ).
At offshore everything provided ( meal , accomodation ).
Plz advice.
