recommend treats for Indians from Keila in India(not sure about the spelling)
I have a few friends who are from Keila from India. They are so generous and kind, and treated me several times with their traditional food. :-D
Therefore I want to invite them for lunch. But I will be leaving this country in early December, so it is quite difficult for me to invite them to my house. That is why I wanna know which restaurant would be good for them. I and they live near ASD(American School of Doha). You would be appreciated in advance if you recommend any kinds of suitable restaurants for Indians near the area.
(I can eat everything, so my taste doesn't matter.)

THE CORRECT PLACE NAME IS KERALA AND THE PEOPLE ARE CALLED KERALITES OR MALAYALIS OR SIMPLY MALLUS. I AM PROUD TO BE ONE OF THEM... KERALA IS ALSO KNOWN AS GOD'S OWN COUNTRY. THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN DOHA ARE, PRESTIGE, SHALIMAR, AL OSRA, GARDEN, ASIANA, CARAVAN, MAZZA, MAHARAJA, ETC. TRY ANY ONE OF THEM AND GIVE UR MALLU FRIENDS A GUD TREAT. BEST OF LUCK.
I Prefer for keralites ...Al-Osra near mannai Round/about, they serve Kerala food in lunch which is comparatively good... and Garden resturant.
Best is "GARDEN Restaurant"
Buffet Dinner - QAR 45 or less...but not more..
Food is very tasty and delicious...!

1. there's a good restaurant in inside ramada plaza name call BOMBAY BALTI & another name call CHINGARI both are good.
2. another one is located back side of amrican hospical name call ALISHAN this one also good it's look very royal.

priviously nice country in kerala now becoma a terorist group and bombs in any where in kerala and people not working they going to strike (this is for one business)geting daily 250 or 150 IRS.
Try Al-Osra near mannair Round/about, they serve Kerala food in lunch as buffe (QR.12 only) comparatively good and plenty of items.
The correct spelling is Kerala (popularly known as God's own country!)
Most Indian restaurants have a few selections of Keralite food but (to the best of my knowledge) there is no restaurant that specialises in keralite food alone and even if there is, I (a keralite in doha since birth)haven't heard of it which means its not good.
More importantly, keralites generally don't opt for keralite food at restaurants(why would they when they get the best of it at home!!)

Spelling is KERALITE..Kerala is a southern part of INDIA..It is one of the many states from INDIA..It has a very scenic beautiful locations to die for..
I m not keralite but from MUMBAI..So i dont speak MALYALAM (language of keralites)..I speak HINDI and ENGLISH..But i do know some of my keralites frdzz too..I dont know about the location that u have said but i can guide u abt some of the best INDIAN RESTUARANTS at qatar...U can invite them at MAZZA (near airport road),PRESTIGE (near airport), ARYAS (i think its in MUMTAZAH area),SWAGAT, MAHARAJA,GOLDEN FORK..If ur budget is high, u can even try BUKHARA or CHINGARI at RAMADA HOTEL..
