Why are humans so ungrateful??
Having hit a low this week already, I decided to watch "Robinson Crusoe"..(for the umpteenth time)
So what is it with Friday ??>
The Englishman teaches him a civilized language, allows him to cook, clean and hunt for him and even teaches him a little about religion. He even pays him a tiny sum..
So why is Friday so ungrateful ???
But he was British, no? I hear they like to bend over in schools there.
What comes around, goes around....
Robinson was an Englishman and a gentleman to boot. Bending over was not the order of the day.. Stiff upper lip and all that..
robinson should have bent over......
He's not upset, he's ungrateful..

But did he allow him to pick the berries from the trees on a friday? Or let Friday go for a short holiday across the water without Crusoe's permission?

Well, after you help the ungrateful, they tend to act the no-one-help-me-achieve-this attitude. Being ungrateful is a part of everyone's status. Why are humans too stupid to help the ungrateful? That is the question!
