Airport visa (visa upon arrival) is only applicable to citizens of certain countries, i.e. US, Canada, Japan, France, GCC countries, European countries. The rest needs to secure a visa PRIOR to arrival.

And Airport visa applied prior to arrival is only for a maximum stay of 1 month, no extension. If you want 6 months, you need to apply for Family Visit, and requirements include Birth Cert (for Children), Marriage Contract (for spouse), Passport copy, labor contract, NOC from company to allow you to sponsor your family to visit and submit it at Immigration either near Al Gharaffa or Woqod Station (Industrial Area), or if ur living in Al Khor, to the Immigration office beside the Fire Station.

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

I been in qatar twice. I did obtain my visa at the airport. Its good for a month but then you can extend it for certain days. You have to pay for extension.

As far as i knew you can obtain airport visa or upon arrival. But i've got american passport. I assume your from the philippines. I dunno if you can obtain airport visa or upon arrival visa. About visit visa. I dont have any idea.

Its based on my experienced only.

Goodluck!
