If they are in very good condition and a good price why not?

medicalcity,

I just bought second hand A/C last June 2008 and it is still working.

What I suggest is make a bargain to the shop that they guaranteed it to be working within six (6) months and it should be free of charge if ever there's a problem.

Even you pay them an extra QR50-100 for that matter.

By the way, I bought my A/C for QR500 only and I add QR50 to have six (6) months warranty.

I hope this helps.

CHEERS..

Go ahead. It is very admirable that you thought of going second hand , which is the enviornmentally friendly method and using techniques of recycling - if there is some use left in any of those gadgets, which it surely will have- if bought from here in Qatar, then I would suggest that you go for it.

Depending upon budget. If you can get them second hand from a privated seller sure why not. However dont bother buying from second hand businesses.

Ac and fridges (lesser known brands) are best bought brand new. Otherwise you will be saving say 20%-30%.

Stoves or cooking ranges are best bought second hand. Oh and... dont bother with electric ones. Gas stove makes better sense (economical). Elecs send your bills up the roof.
