car accident not at fault but need to pay?? help.

Was involved in car accident as someone went into the back of the car. Got police report and I wasn't at fault. discovered after waiting 2 hours at my insurance company that I had to submit the claim at the offending drivers insurance co. So I did.
I discovered that since my car is 2005 model and since I need a replacement bumper i will have to pay 40% of the cost.
How is it that I have full insurance on my car and not at fault and have to end up paying to get a bumper replaced on my car?
Any further info about this would be appreciated.

Yes I am with QIC
But I went to Arabia insurance which was the offending drivers insurance. Who had told me to pay 40%.

Anyways I called QIC again and they said to go to the office and they will finish the matter? Whatever that means (waiting again, I suppose).
look mister . screw them . take it to the court. You are entitled to full and satisfactory (raise eybrow) compensation. If the repairs havent been done by the insurance you are most welcome to present the case at court.
Dont ask me about complaints at the court. Their policies and procedures are taken with sceptism from expats. Then again. The sharia law if properly implemented never let the righteous down.

After reading this, i'm interested why 2 people say it is because u must be with QIC.
Why is that? Are they not a very good company to be with? Any recommendations for the best company to be with? Thanks
my friend if its not your fault you will not pay even one Qr but the report show that its your fault thats why the insurance charge depend on the model the percentage % read the insurance agreement
