what happens after the final interview??

what happens after the final interview for a cabin crew position in Qatar airways? i've attended the assessment in our country last month. from 500+ applicants down to 16 on the 3rd day. the final interview was conducted, we were given the cabin crew guidelines, the medical test guidelines as well as the qatar cabin crew application form. we were told to wait for 3 weeks for an e-mail whether we get in or not. that's also the go-signal for us to start our medicals. i couldn't be relieved until that time... *sigh*
i just want to ask if anyone here experienced the same thing, and if there's still a possibility that some of us wouldn't get hired. also, if fortunately i get invited, any advice before i take the medicals?
thanks so much.

well they said they would submit the forms to doha asap. but of course they'd go to different cities from different countries to continue their recruitment.

omar is right. for qatar airways, they conduct 3 part interviews. first is the pre-assessment. second one is the written exam, reach test, group discussions to see if your verbal communications is excellent, and lastly for the third day, they would have a one-on-one interview.

i hope i'd get the e-mail which would say that i get in :) thanks for the replies.

Do you know for a fact that they went back to Doha after your interview? I know when they go for interviews to places like India and Philippines, they do a drive in most of the metro cities and then come back, collate everything and then decide...

Well regarding your interview i think you are selected and if they told you to wait for your email...so they will email you and than you will have training in Dubai i guess for 4 weeks...Anyways best of luck and if you want any other information do let me know...as i went thru from cabin crew interview.. thanks for the reply. but the only city they've been to is ours, then they went back to doha already. they mentioned that about 15 slots can be given, not sure if they were for real though. thanks again

I do think that the 16 of you are the final selection from whichever city you're at... they must still be doing their recruitment drives in other cities in your country and only when they complete it they will know of their crew numbers, after that they will inform you of the process to start your medicals... if they get more than the number required, I guess that means the sack for some... so good luck with that...
