Urgent how long should i wait?

Hi friends ,I am an Indian. I signed my offer letter with a Qatari company on 16th Sep 2008.Before that date I have submitted all the documents for visa.

However still now I have not get my Visa. Can any body tell me how long will take? When i call the company they are always telling me the same old answer " waiting for the Approval"

IF the company want u really they can get the visa with in a 3 working days, if ur waiting from aug i am sorry to u. so try a new job.

I too am sailing in teh same boat..amybe a worse situation than you. I have been waiting since Aug 5th. No news of my visa. Still getting the same answer from HR that visa under process. Losing hope. Pls let me know if u get any information as to how long it takes. Or is there any time frame after applying for visa. Thank you
