Which service center offers good after sales service?
I was trying to look from the previous post but was not satisfied on some comments. My apology if this post has been answered. I want to buy a car and choosing between GMC Acadia & Ford Explorer (I prefer 7 seater) though they have pretty big price difference, I want to get the better after sales service, maintenance support. Which is more expensive to maintain? How's the steering/handling performance? Kindly advise guys!
thanks for the advise... we will try to take a look again at GMC Acadia...
When it comes to AfterSales Service, GMC is better than Ford. Same with Chevrolet which is better than Ford, but not as good as GMC service. GMC, Chevrolet and Ford are Cheap to service, don't worry. I got Chevrolet and Ford myself(in addition to 2 other Cars).
A post after my own heart! Though I can't tell you much about after service for either GMC or Ford, I can tell you that the Acadia has amazing reviews everywhere I looked. I very much like the way it looks and if I was brave enough to shell out the money, I'd go for it. The Ford Explorer, I have been told, pales in comparison to rivals in its class when it comes to power.
I know the common thought when people hear/see this name, but you should take a look at the Kia Sorrento or Mohave. I test drove the Sorrento and thought it had plenty of power and a great set of options for MUCH less than the Ford, not to mention the Acadia. The Hyundai Santa Fe and Vera Cruz receive good grades in reviews online and in mags, but the Santa Fe doesn't offer the larger engine in Qatar and Hyundai doesn't allow test drives. Ridiculous.
If you want a comparison inline with the Explorer, take a look at the Durango. A LOT of power and very nice styling. A little old fashioned, but not too bad.
I owned a BMW and MINI and I can tell you that Al Fardan is not great for after service, but I think they are probably one of the better ones.
Hope this post offers a little bit of help and at least a new point of view!
