to genesis : that's exactly what i said ... the current season (ie the winter season ... the ss 09 season is not even displayed in most french shops as these are the sales right now ... maybe you got wrong with the cruise collections) was on sale because they are soon displaying the summer collections ...
now about the prices i don't know ... but i think they are pretty similar to the european prices ...
about Salam forget about it ... it's pretty boring !
anyway soon Villagio is gonna open so run overthere i would say !
I appreciate it's a bit off thread but it is amusing. In the 80's, KLM lost our son's baggage and gave him a couple of hundred dollars to buy clothes.
He went to "The Centre" which in those days was the only decent shop, to buy some jeans which at the time and as fashion dictated, all had designer tears in them.
The Centre said they didn't have any jeans as they had all arrived torn and were sent back as faulty.
When you say this season , you mean spring-summer collection 2009(Which i'm sure they did not display or even received yet). As for the so called current season, i advice you to check out Fifth saks avenue in Dubai where all of the winter season collection of brands like Alexander McQueen,.. etc on 50-70% discount
It's a ripoff. Not only would you be paying the original price of items sold in Europe since last august (the release of the winter collection), but also the tax % of it.Not to mention the fluctuation of Euro & pound which have not reflected in their prices...
i've been to aida twice recently ... nothing is last seasons (this is the current season and some items on sale from past seasons ... like any other shops) and they had sales recently (up to 60%).
the people are really nice ... i don't know for women but for men they carry dior homme, balenciaga, alexander mcqueen, galliano, armani, les hommes, cdg, kris van assche, margiela and more i think (some cheapest things like Surface to Air).
for women they do balenciaga for sure (bags and outfits), they also carry chloé bags and luella and mccartney ...
and FYI : to enter the shop enter alfardan tower it's on your right.

unless you'd like shopping for last seasons brand names in double the original price.
