Low price ofer for mobiles in our classifides???...
Some peoples/agencies are offering "unlocked" mobiles in very low prcices (half of local market price)through qtar living classifieds.Is it a valuable offer?...What u think?...anybody got/ordered mobiles from this people?..or shall I make order?..please advice me..& What is Mean by "UNLOCKED" mobile?
These agencies are nothing but fraudsters on the internet. If the Price is too good to be true, it probably isn't.
Never send money by western union or other unrecoverable means for buying any product online. They will take your money and never respond to you, all addresses provided would be fake, international telephone numbers would be provided in some cases.
Always prefer buying from individuals by giving cash and collecting the product immediately and if buying online, ONLY buy from reputed and authentic websites.
Be Safe, "Attraction by offering unbelievably low prices" is their way of catching a prey, don't fall for it!
What you'll notice with the classifieds here, is that those really cheap adverts, are a 'company', not a person in Qatar.
I inquired about one of these once, and they told me to send the money by western union, then they will ship the phone.
This is obviously a scam, because once you send the money, you have no proof they will send the phone, and you will never get your money back.
They way to stay away from these scams, is by looking at the advert, the scams usually put no qatar phone number, only an email address. And they also put a long specification, compared to what normal people would put.
Also, Unlocked means that the phone can work with any sim card. All phones that you buy in Qatar are unlocked already (such as Nokia, Blackberry, Motorola). But when buying an iPhone it must be unlocked to work in Qatar.
