Anyone working for Hamad Medical from the USA?

I will be interviewing this weekend, January 3 2009 for a position at Hamad Medical.

How long will it take after the interview to actually get an offer? Wonder if I should take a job in the US while I wait.
Anyone out there who is currently working at Hamad Medical Center in a non clinical management position?

If you were invited for an in person interview, were you assured that you would get the position at the time?

Any and all information would be helpful....
Thanks
Amy

discretely ask each individual you meet how long they have been working at hamad, that will give you an idea of change - and take a good look at the termination clauses...

amela..u give an interview first and u can ask them that in how much time they will let you know abt the job..the procedure sometimes takes too long and sometimes takes days..depending on their demand for the position...u just visit and after that u send the post here on QL and we will let you know about the possibilities..best of luck

Good luck this weekend in your interview! I'm sure they wouldn't bring you over if they weren't very serious about your candidacy. Try to ask them for a tentative answer before you leave. If they want you they won't want to lose you. But as we all moan around here, "This is Qatar!" Things can take a long time. Come and visit and see if it's worth waiting for.
