i signed contract with a company in qatar since september and sent all my documents, but the visa is not issued yet, ist take that long 4 month to obtain work visa in qatar?
i contact hr last week and they said that my visa is under procedure and not issued yet!

it can take months, no problem, between job offer and starting, 6 months in one case for me to join a government dept.

What usually happens is that employers seek a temp visa which is quickly available and then seek a long term visa when you are here.

But everything takes time when working with government depts everywhere

ask HR where ur application is now, may not have been submitted to Ministry of Interior yet

doesn't really take that much of a time..but, i'd still say, it's a case to case basis...and yes, probably because of the consecutive holidays..goodluck!

dear qatar visa office is very quick then others gcc countary. here if your employer company summmit all document in visa office then get visa within seven working days. my company provided me visa with in seven working days. may be he did not have approval for visa or did not apply for your visa or may be presently he did not have lot of work so he put you in hold mode.
