WEDDING VENUE - Any Idea's...
Hello!
I am wondering if any of you can assist with some good idea's for my wedding venue...
I am getting wed early Feb, the venue that I had cancelled on me last minute... it was a good place with great price location & also could have served alcohol... my issue is that the Hotels are a rip off.. and over charge... I want somewhere simple nice that can make a nice buffet and serve alcohol... for max 40 persons...
Does anyone have any idea's... I dont really want to host it in our house...
Thanks alot...
Kellie

really? Usually when one gets married in one country one is married and doesn't 'get wed' in another country! Strange.......
Phew!

I believe that Brit was married in a quiet civil ceremony back home, this is just the party for friends in Doha.

agree to that..... best wishes on your wedding anyway, and i hope you find a venue soon,.. dont worry , soon after you get married, you'd be able to say it loud and proud here that u are pregnant,.coz it is such a wonderful blessing that deserves to be shared at the right time of course...
Or ermm bring the wedding closer like erm tomorrow?!
Aaaah! Pregnant and not married in Qatar! Jeez! Be bloody careful! I've seen what happens to people in that situation in the middle east! Yikes!
Try the Riviera compound. They have a good hall.
I cannot drink anyway as Pregnant.. its for my guests... so I would like the choice of alcohol.. its there if required...
Thanks Rania for ur suggestion though... it was a really nice idea :)
Why Alcohol... leave it n enjoy the party in present mind.. why to get knocked off..
How about a dirt lot off of Salwa Road??

:( well sorry then. tried
we cannot have a venue like the one mentioned.. nice idea but alcohol will def not be allowed... I think that outside caterers - IE Hotels, can supply alcohol if the venue is residential and the residents hold a license also... so no point really..
Eh? are there caterers that serve alcohol outside a hotel setting? I can't see that somehow!
and you get some catering co that serve alcohol too
mmmmmm, i like the Aspire, lots of space you can just close the space u wanna use with tents and flowers. you should ask if you can rent a space there or something, try your luck. im not sure about it but it's a very nice green open space for a close cozy wedding, i like that kind of weddings
