Advice on Al Jazeera Application-- have they picked the correspondent yet for the open beirut position?

I applied for Al Jazeera English's Beirut correspondent position back in Oct. 20 (an advertized opening). I have yet to hear back from them. Any idea if they've decided who to interview from the pool of applications or if they've alread chosen the correspondent? I'm wondering if they are passing me up or still mulling over applications. Last thing: any advice on who to contact for a follow up for my application?
