I haven't been able to get the 3G to work. I looked at your instructions and others but ended up with a phone that wouldn't boot 3 times so gave up. 3G is not really that big a deal in this city.

@Avid, sorry but you are wrong the iPhone does support arabic.
They all support Arabic characters but do not connect the characters.
HOWEVER, there is a solution, go to www.iphoneislam.com and download the arabic program which corrects that and also installs an arabic keyboard.
