Driving Licence

I have 3 questions please,

I am moving from Dubai to Qatar and I don't have a driving license here. Is it easy to get a driving license in Qatar?

What about taxis for commuting specially while going to office, can I find them easily?

What is the standard rent for a 2 bedroom flat, can I find it in a week's time?

Please answer to these as it is very urgent. Thanks in advance.

First of all welcome to Qatar

in the previous link many topics and info on driving license, I suggest you read a little. As to my understanding If you have Dubai (UAE) driving license here in qatar is just a quick procedure to get Qatari Driving License. Otherwise you will have to go to driving school, and after that do the test.

On the taxi's issue somedays they are easy, others not that easy. I would suggest hiring a limo service.

Apt in 1 week...I guess if you can give the people in the forum with some ideas as where you are going to work/live then they can provide you with a lil more detailed info. My fisrt answer to this is "MAYBE". Anyway, in the link several topics on apartments/rooms for rent.

first, having a license is not that easy but if you are a good driver then you should pass the test.

Second, taxis are not much and their rates are not that cheap, but some ppl here work on pickups as a part time job and they offer gd prices...so it could be managed

Third,Appartment with 2 bed rooms starts from 5000 Qr and goes higher reaching 10000 Qr, depends on the area you wanna rent at

Gd luck!
