hehe...considering the fact that i saw girls wearing mini skirts, i guess a saari is much more decent than that! just feel yourself and you'd be ok!

Normal Dress, In Qatar u'll find lots of Indian, When u arrive just drop in some Malls like city centre, Lulu etc.. then u'll feel comfortable with this place.

There is no restriction in waring sari. You can dress in the same way you dress back home in India. Carry some winter garment as it is quite cold in Qatar

Try to avoid Sarees until you feel comfortable around the place. The weather here is pretty cold, guess this would mean you cover yourself until your warm - Sweaters, Jackets, Shawls etc..hehe..it isn't snowing but even then :)

How about some Boots..wear your saree and include boots, this would be the trend.. :)

Generally so long as u wear decent clothing u'll be fine. I notice sometimes the tops worn with sarees leave the stomach bare - this might not be a wise idea unless you're going to a meet where you know there'll be other INdians, as locals don't tend to appreciate a bare stomach.
