Actually Killing Cat and Dogs and sellit to the markets are prohibited by law in the Philippines with the penalty of 2 to 5 years imprisonment, but in some region like the Autonomous region of cordillera, (Aetas, Filipino descendant still lived in the mountinous regions) they are allowed to eat dogs and cats for they tribal rituals till today, and probably they Influence some other tribes and people, like me eat dogs far more better taste than chicken!..

I'm not sure where the film I saw was taken but it would be nice if they could kill the dog BEFORE skinning it. No religion or culture should be excused from this dreadful way to treat a living creature.

Chinese too are eating dogs and cats. National geographic channel once telecasted a documentary about slaughtering the dogs in china.

Every culture has its own way and kind of eating, for example some people eat cow meat or any other meat which is considered a sin for some other cultures....and Saudi Arabians eat grasshopers with the kabsa whish is considered discusting for others...so its normal and we respect each culture way of eating...
