Tour of Qatar - Random pictures

These pictures are from 2009 Tour of Qatar. It was time trials today. I let my I-Phone bug bite me and took a few pictures.

This was the place where the people were making tea for the dignitaries...

These people were making tea on the sides. It was fun watching them. And they had no objection to the camera (okok, I-Phone) either!

Those tough looking guys are the security men, listening to instructions from the big bad mean tough-speaking level boss. Kill him to proceed to the next level. lol.

The above two pictures show the Doha Team training at the park. They came in 11th, i believe.

These are the bikes being transported, behind the actual riders.

I like the traditional touch given to the Tour this year. There were people like these sitting around and selling their wares. I like, but I no buy. :-(

I think one of these days, there will be stunt biking happening on these. Watch this space.
