Moving homes in Doha : Which company to move stuff?
Like many others in Doha, we're shuffling homes soon due to the rents fluctuating.
Can anyone recommend a moving company that they have used? We've got the usual household items (sofa, beds, cupboards, dishes, clothes, etc.) as well as some high end electronics (flat screen HDTV, sound system, computers, etc). So we want someone good who won't smash the TV!
Also, do these companies pack everything up for you and then unpack at the new house? And would they mount the TV, put up the curtain rods, etc?

International Moving Services (part of the GAC Group) is a very good company to use, they pack up all your stuff very professionally and get it to the other end in good order. I have spoken to many people who have used this company and they all speak very highly of them. I used them to come over from the UK and they were great.
I have used Qatar Logistics on two occasions - once to relocate some furniture in Doha, and the other time to collect my stuff from the airport that had been shipped from the UK. Both times the service was excellent and in my opinion reasonably priced. They will bubble-wrap everything and unpack it all at the other end. Crew of six guys, completely hassle free - just keep them supplied with water! The number's in Marhaba. When you get through ask to speak with Starlynn and she will organise everything for you.

There is one company that moves and pack things, but to unpack am not sure, find it thru the classified ads here in Qatarliving.
I recommend International Freight Services (IFS).
They did an excellent and fast job, including professional packing and unpacking.
I used them to move within Doha and also for a shipment overseas.
